Project Overview
The StarPlusEnergies Battery Plant project in Kokomo, Indiana represents one of the largest and most advanced battery manufacturing facilities in North America, spanning 2.4 million square feet. Our team is responsible for delivering a complete package of network, security, and connectivity systems essential for both production operations and site security. The scope includes the deployment of structured network cabling and infrastructure across all production areas, integration of fire protection systems, installation of over 535 CCTV cameras, 280 card readers, and 252 wireless access points. Additionally, we are executing the installation of approximately 20,000 feet of perimeter fencing with coordinated trench work, cameras, and intrusion sensors to protect the facility. This project requires precise planning and execution in active cleanroom environments, underscoring our ability to manage complex scopes within high-performance manufacturing plants.
Scope of Work
- Complete Network Connectivity
- Installation of network infrastructure to support all production equipment, including cable trays, conduits, raceways, and server equipment
- Integration with fire protection systems to ensure seamless connectivity and operational reliability.
- Comprehensive CCTV Surveillance & Access Control System
- Deployment of a site-wide security system with over 535 CCTV cameras
- Installation of perimeter security systems, including intrusion sensors and cameras, spanning more than 20,000 feet to provide comprehensive site protection.
- Installation of 280 car readers across critical facility access points to ensure controlled entry and operational safety
- Wireless Access Infrastructure
- Deployment of 252 wireless access points to support both AGV (Autonomous Ground Vehicles) operations and plant-wide employee connectivity within the Battery Cell and Formation buildings.
